Freya: it is nothing compared to the Maori fashion: genuine Kiwi coats and natural fibres.
I'm not so sure I would go so far as to say that was fashion, looks to me like they were standing under a leaky bucket of red paint.
freya55---hope you enjoy Indian spices too:)rolling on the floor laughing laugh
Rusha,

I've got one of those Ladies' Indian dress (don't know what you call them) given to me as a present by my friend. I've worn it once (for traditional party wear) and I love it. I also love Indian Curry food...delicious...thumbs up
feelinglost---...the red paint is basically... Sindur (vermilion) blood-red powder, usually smeared on the forehead and at the parting of the hair of Hindu married women. This is part of the marriage ritual and is inherited from ancient tribal cultures. It was inconceivable in many tribal communities that a marriage would take place without the use of vermilion as a ceremonial seal to the wedlock. According to the practice in some communities, marriages are solemnised by putting vermilion on the forehead of the bride as the priest prays to god for happiness of the couple.

I love some of their fabrics beautiful.
Feelings......are you sarcastic about everything?

I love the Indian fashions and I hope more and more women start to wear them. Does anyone know where I can get one?
picca: in India I guess, on the streets of Kolkata under the plastic bag huts....
Nowhere to get one in the US? Thats a shame. Can someone from India send me one? I'd be willing to pay?
Rusha, I have a beautiful sari but haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet.
picca: you are bankrupt (world champion) so how can you pay?
piccaboo---- you get them in usa tooo.... try local indian store:)
Fairiewitch---hope you gonna wear it soon////make sure to take a picture:)applause applause tongue
guadal ---why dnt you buy it for her...i am sure you have loadz f moneyconfused confused confused in your plastic bag:)dancing
no, I am bankrupt, too. havn't even got a plastic bag.
Rusha.....Thanks for the info. I will definitely check it out. I think they are beautiful.

Guadal....I don't know who you are but I'm not bankrupt. (world champion) what does this mean? You have issues.
picca: I have no issues, but I mean the USA, the biggest economy in the world bringing already several times the world economy on the edge. Which means a whole lot of people depending on a job would fall into a dust bowl.
When I say I have not even got a plastic bag I mean that I cannot even produce a plastic bag myself. But this is no issue at all. Hunger and shelter would be as well as health.
