Women have to literally fight every day to maintain their independence in a world controlled by men. And her wanting to pay half that bill was her way of holding onto that independence. You need to accommodate the woman's sense of identity even if that means paying half the bill. This is a minor bridge to cross in establishing a relationship. My advise is for you to wait at the end of the line, like a man, and wait for the woman to decide what she needs to do to maintain her identity.

I would be prepare to pay half of the bill but if the guy wanted to cover all I would totaly respect his decision to do so and be very happy with it. so where are those guys who whant to pay for my meal???

I order so that the cost is modest. I am always prepared to pay for half if not all of the bill plus tip. However, I would not shell out the cash unless the man broaches the subject or I know he can not afford both meals.

at least you have a date, why care who pays the bill ?
