At 5'4" you should weigh at least 120 or more if you had a larger body frame. 79 lbs is because you are not well. If not anorexic then some other health reason. Joint pain is probably due to your being so underweight. Have you been seen by a physician? You should be asking a medical professional for advice not asking people in a forum.
sad i will go to a doctor soon but manybe some vitamins might help and some advice may work...you never know some ppl do have good knowledge that even doc's don't.
sorry i am 79kg not poundsbanana
SweetC...It is tablets I think ??? Ask Virgo if you can ??

Somewhere on this site, I see this often; is a BMI - body, mass, ratio, index, which advises to you your ideal body weight for your height. It is fairly accurate as too much weight can put pressure on your joints, which seeems to be your case. At 5"4', you should be around 65kg.wave wine handshake
thks al i know it is partly weight too
Please see a physician and get trained medical advice, x-rays, MRI and sound evaluation of your actual condition so that you can be treated properly. You can worsen your condition by over medicating on the wrong medications. I had severe knew pain but it was caused by a bakers cyst which is in the back of the calf. It could be arthritis, or joint deterioration which requires surgery to repair. It could be many things all with different treatments. Right now you are just seeking to find a band aid. Please, make an appointment very soon.
wave Hi Sweetcocoa1
Knees and joints are something of
a nuisance for some.
I have had arthritis since the age
of 19.
Its sadly hereditary and we have to
live with it.
The knees are the first to be hit in
many people.
Try to forget the pain and just enjoy
life, keep going. The alternative is
new joints not a good look.
They say they are super and you adapt
but they cannot turn like your own.
So if you look at the upside we can
predict the weather we do know when
its going to rain and when there is
going to be frost! Who need a weatherman!
At 55 I need 2 new knees! but hanging on
for a while longer, just do not let the
pain override things.
Good luck and try to stay away from all
those painkillers that they will give you
they cause all sorts of other problems.
The cure at times is worse than the complaint.
