An honest mistake
how would you react when a stranger calls you 'mommy'? Are u goin to get mad and correct him or take it constructively?I have been encountering this in different scenarios. A customer went to my office for a business transaction. After the dealings, he anxiously asked me how many kids do i have and where is my husband. Anyway, he is not a prospect and i just answered "i have 1 3-yr old boy" and proudly showed the cute picture of my nephew.
Another scenario, i was in a department store browsing for a corporate dress when the saleslady suddenly started her sales talk: "Mommy, this one will suits you".
How proud the feeling is to be called mommy or mom!!
anyhow, i know it was an honest mistake and i take it constructively coz i should have been a mom by this time.
