Friend
I think you like me.I know I like you, so,
It is with tears of joy
In my throat
That I call you "friend"
A friend may not be
The passion of life
But a friend does offer
Life's breath in the interim
A friend does give an
Ear
An ear that, if truly a friend
Does listen
And in turn
I do listen

You have to have lived life and had experience of the good and bad to be able to write about it.
But, that does not make you bad,or should you be sad.....
I would reccommend a book that made a great difference to me -
"One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" where in the hardest od lifes - small things do make a difference.
