Dam, he manufactured a mistake on the description of the property, so now he doesnt have to sign the final transfer docs, until the mistake is rectified by the bank.
They are pushing me to sign first, otherwise Im responsible for delay of transfer. A bit unfair, cause I thought by law the buyer signs first. But the lawyers arent telling me this. His managed to manipulate them, shit. This fraudster is well above the law, the smartest chess player Ive ever met. Everyone feels sorry for him, He is that good a con artist.

Do I have to do something I regret later, to get my revenge when he steals my prop, and puts me on the street. Or do I wither away quietly like a lost worm and be judged as a begger and looser by society. Dam.

I was going to advise you to fight fire with fire, but you might get burnt rainbow, so instead, fight fire with carbon dioxide...
Have you tryed wraping both hands up with frist aid bandages and then show them and tell them you can't sign the paper.
Dont sign rainbow, wait for him to sign frist then read over the document very carefully (even if you have to take it home, take it home, they want your signature!), if you dont understand ANYTHING, seek advice (beside you lawyers), once your name is on the document its over, send the tranfer delay bill to the bank for causing the delay, they will either hurry and fix or pay up.. wave
Hi RU, Thanks, you really gave me something other to think about now. He used a tactic weeks ago, where he went into the hospital with pneumonia, which we all know he didnt have, but he is the manager there, so the staff will do what he says. He went in, when it was the final day to pay the deposit which he had trying to get out of all the time then. Whilst in hospital he tried to make me sign an addendum. The lawyers asked me to sign it, but I knew a bit about law, that I dont have to sign anything, the contract was already done and signed by both of us.
So, maybe I should land up in a hospital or go to the doctors or manufacture something tht Im unable to sign at the moment.

Yes, Ill ask my own lawyer tommorrow, if we can bill the bank, or is it his fault for the error on the description of the property, that he cant sign the docs.

Unfortunately Parti, karma can take lifetimes to balance the scales (depending on the karmic debt load of the individual). As has been already advised rainbow, seek out the services of an impartial lawyer. Unless you want to lose money then it is good money spent. Good luck thumbs up
