I watched a video on internet today. And here is main idea of that video.All women want to marry a perfect men:well-educated; good appearance; competent; attractive personality; rich.
92.0% women think that only a men with stable income are qualified to marry woman;while 70.0% think that only a men with house are qualified.
About 80.0% female think that a male with 4000 RMB/month are capable to date a gril; while 27.1% female think it should be 10000 RMB/moth.
According to a research, an american guy spend about $16000 in getting married with a women; while a chinese man spend around ?2370000.
Is it really that expensive to get married?

Me i prefer to stay unmarried with the one i wanna spend my life with. Unless she needs the wedding of one reason or another.
If she want the expensive one then i know i got with the wrong girl... and guess what.. the wedding is off.

But it seems couples want more than that. I went to a wedding shop with my best friend. She told me that they has already spend nearly 600,000RMB in getting married. Bought a new house, held a wedding party, took wedding photo and so on...Most girls want their own wedding to be the best one.
hehe...I dont agreed with U, are U think 600,000rmb (about $95,000) can buy a house in guangzhou? lol...that really funny and impossible things, we knew if want to buy a house (about 100 square meters)almost need 1000-1200,000 rmb ($190,000)just in panyu(suburb).So,buy house cant calculation in the cost of the wedding inside...
Here I just say only a wedding, the party tell all friends "we married"... very simple just need a finger ring, wedding dress and a honeymoon. I think it was depends everyone pecuniary condition, You how much head put on the size of the hat,right?
Important not wedding how to luxury, real love not need too much of the superficial things, just my personal point of view.
It was a medeival wedding, and so was my costume.
American women are used to their standard of living in the U.S. Most of them (at least the younger ones) want a nice ring and wedding.
Me personally if i was to spend a lot of money for my wedding i would get married a city hall and then take my new wife on a nice vacation then we would at least get something for the money other than an excuse to have friends over to drink and eat, that we can do any day.
but as for your statistics about the girls idea about what guys are worth dating, a lot of girls these days are very materialistic and only want to date guys that have a lot of money to pamper them and buy them anything they point at.
