Sunday

Another Sunday.... the one thing that spoils a Sunday is that tomorrow the working week begins...yet again. sigh

Not much planned for the day. One daughter is at work already and the other is still in bed trying to recover from last nights party. Oh to be young again...

Have decided to tackle the lawn which is in desperate need of a mow. I've managed to work out the lawnmower (yes, I have never used a lawn mower before) but the whipper snipper has me beat...can't get the damned thing started...lol. I'll figure it out one way or the other.

Cheers to all and enjoy your Sunday banana

Hi,

Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday, even though the prospect of work is looming!
For me, I can't wait for Monday, to get up early (6am), do my animals, get the bus to work (which is a good hour or so), catch up with collegues and do the work. I'm very lucky that I thoroughly enjoy my work, I could not imagine doing anything else, and the fact I get paid is amazing!! I work for an animal welfare charity, mostly with horses, so I enjoy every minute, and I can't get enough of it. I've been there for 2 years now, but it feels like only yesterday, the excitement of the day!

I always belived that as much as we need to get paid to pay the gruelling household bills and have fun, that we should also do what we enjoy as we only get one shot at it! We spend most of our life working, so why not do something we enjoy? I worked very hard to get to where I am, but it was worth it. I had to do other jobs before this one became avaiable, from cleaning to shop assistant, but I never gave up looking for what I wanted in the long term!

I hope others will find what they want from all aspects of life!
Anything is possiable, when you know what you want from life! Its just detrmination and hard work that is required!!
