Rants from 2soon old/2latewise

I wonder why people do what they do. My neighbor/housekeeper/friend went out of town to a friend's farm and picked a huge bag of baby carrots for me. Nice! Right? Then she wouldn't stay for supper. She had no guests at her house and, like me, lives alone. Maybe it's just the mystery of women; I'll never understand them.

Maybe if she had just returned from the trip she needed to take some time for herself. Try extending another invitation to her and ask her if there is a particular evening that would work best for her.

Maybe you took her by surprise and she didn't know how to re-act?? dunno

Maybe 'supper' was too late for her, how about a cuppa next time, not so daunting? A cuppa can be half an hour whereas supper might mean an hour or three?? hug
