DEPRESSION

I'm an not pissed off...I'm confused, tired and broken. I'd say hurt, but recently found out, when I say "hurt" others say "drama" I'd rather just crawl into a hole and die, then have to deal with what has to be dealt with everyday, not sure how much longer I can put up with it.I love how people say "It's gonna be alright." All I can think is "Yeah, because it isn't happening to you." :/ If you only knew the pain I am hiding behind all my smiles. dont say I'm a teenager what have u to be depressed about..when you ask what's wrong, all I'll say is I'm tired. orn apart, nsecure, eally faking my smile, xtremely sad, rowning in my tears Yeah,Im just tired...Everyone goes through their own type of "Hell" at some point in their life. Its how u get through that makes u stronger! BE STRONG !! SOMEONE WILL MISS U AND U ARE LOVED !!

Hi Townsend- wave

It's quite a journey, isn't it?

One key part is to know that the feelings will get better again if you do the right things. The effort isn't small or quick but with the right guidance, it works.

It would be great to know what is coming and stop it before it happens. The difficult part is for someone who is heading for the pit to connect with someone who recognizes it and can help them avoid it.

Then you're in the pit, I think the most important part is to have people you connect with. To talk quietly or just exist in the same space. A pep talk doesn't help... there isn't a quick fix... just knowing that someone is there with you... someone to take a walk with... to talk to about what you're feeling.

Learning how to avoid adding to the problem is important just as learning how to come back towards normal. Ask a doctor... find a counselor, psychologist, etc. Slow down and spend time on healing and it gets better.

A good topic to discuss. Difficult... but good to talk about this.

Hiya Townsend ,Depression is a complicated condition that is sometimes misunderstood. A certain stigma/ fear or prejudice has been created around it. For example, some people may view depression as a sign of weakness or something that can be 'willed' away. They do not realise that it is a real condition that can be treated. Unfortunately, these false beliefs and attitudes often prevent people with depression from admitting their problems, because they are afraid of what others will say or think. They may also worry about the consequences of a diagnosis of depression on their employment or insurance. This can leave people feeling lonely and isolated. It may also make them reluctant to ask for medical help, or to continue on their recommended treatment. All these effects combine to worsen the condition of a person with depression, when they could be benefitting from helpful care and treatment.(Lean on me) is a good way to get involved and share with others who feel confused/tired/broken as you have said .Best of luck to you and if you need any info on this please feel free to contact me ...
handshake Nuli !!
Sounds like your stuck in a depressing rut sweetie. It happens. It might help to shake things up a bit. Have you tried volunteer work? Feeling useful and doing something meaningful goes a long way towards making us feel better about the world...I wish you luck and hope you find your way out of this soon. hug
Welcome Townsend,
everyone bring their own cross and to put up with God and themselves.
