In our little village which I came from (remote mountainous village) saying the words "I Love YOU" is not common. But time has change. Now few are doing and me included. Not everyday I get to say those words, as often as I can when I call my parents home. Not only by words, also with my actions and my thoughts.
My time ran out a long time ago to tell my parents for me to tell them I love them.

My father was killed in a car crash when I was 9 yrs old.

My mother died from a brain tumor when I was 24yrs old.
Hi Kitkat!

I didn't ever tell Dad that because he never really said much to me. But I know he loved me and me him. Now Mom was different. I told her often and until she died at 99 years 10 months!

MY KIDS! different, i tell them and the G-kids all the time!
sometimes I feel guilty because I never listened to them...one day my mother said, "I give up. I can't handle you anymore" Then there was a cone of silence in my house... But I've never given them such a shame in every step I take...and I rarely asked their help when I was in trouble... I can and I will prove to them !!! head banger

My mom had called the day before she passed away. I was at work so could not answer my cell. When I got off work late that night I heard her message on my voice mail. I had intended to call her back firs thing in the morning. But I ended up getting busy and had forgot. Well while I was getting ready for work. I got a call from one of my sisters saying that they where rushing mom to the hospital. I told her to let me know once they got to the hospital how she was doing. 30 minutes later I got a call from the same sister. She said it was not looking good. That they where getting ready to fly her to another hospital where they had a better change of saving her. Shorty after getting her there she passed away. So I had lost the chance to tell her one last time that I loved her. But at least she had gotten the chance to tell me one last time that she loved me in her voice mail message to me. That was 6 months ago. And until today I'm still upset with myself for not calling her the next morning like I wanted too.

So everyone tell the ones you love everyday that you love them. If you had problems with other family members. Get in touch with them and make things better and tell them that you love them. Because we never know if we or they will be there tomorrow.
