How do I post a video? the embed is invalid...

Just tried to post a vid on this site in the videos bit. First it told me that the http address was wrong as it needed to be the embed address. I went and viewed the vid again in You Tube, clicked on embed, got the address and pasted it in the vid bit...it tells me again it's invalid!!! what the????

ok www....youtube....com/etc........not http://....the stuff in the address bar...site seems to be geared to youtube...you may have to upload video to youtube first...hope that helps...writing
