Good housewife???

I did not know that being a dedicated mother and home maker was a bad thing, but it seems I am not desirable because I don't have a smashing career and a healthy bank balance. If the guys don't want potentially excellent wife and mother then what are they really looking for??

right now for the lady to be a
housewife and Mum!
Give them time.
You don't need a smashing career and
a big bank balance to be a decent
person.

I have a high respect for mothers like, and mine as well and to all wonderful mothers in the world. If that what makes you a happy, and also you feel complete by the role you have chosen, then its great.
