So What?....

Kinda tough to know what to put in these things that doesnt make the writer come across as a self absorbed pompous arse....
So ill just random out, a bit of something anything ya could say...

This is nothing new, been here, done that and like so many before me, still looking for that elusive right person...
With all the 'very nearly's' and 'what ifs', and about two and a half years of CS heritige, im still lingering in the 'lost and found' section of human relationships, Not bad mind, since I have some absolutly wonderfull female friends as a result of 'online dating', but finding the definative article, (as my now profile lists) is like expecting Jesus to come out from behind the sofa and hand me next weeks winning lotto ticket!....But hey, I can wish cant I....

So, as a mention to all of you out there who read this, If your a musician who lived through and loved the 70s and its wild diversity, make a comment, drop a line or even just consider your reasons for being here, and whether they are being met...

Everyone has something to say about something, as for me and blogging, well, I guess time will tell if i have anything worth telling...Lifes not without its suprises is it?....

Branden...cheers ....

And finally, a bit of music to go!...(Bass player John Entwistle was my inspiration to take up music)....

Great Clip........

If any one ever smoked a Joint in the 70's and Im sure some have.
I would Imagine you spent some time examining the cover art of a big old Vinyl LP.
I tried it once but let me assure you I did not Inhale. laugh

Roger and martin Dean were Artists of some of the LP covers that I would escape into while listening to music. (artist)

I must take a moment to recall the LP sleeves and cover along with the accompanying booklet of "Jeff Wanes War of the World"
and "Pink Floyds the Wall" They dont make them like that any more.
Hi Non (smoker)...handshake....

Good old musical choice there, I still have my 1977 (I think it was 77) copy in the music room, magic music, never aged as some music has a habit of doing...
Better still seeing it on stage at the o2 a couple of years back...

Anyways, just popped up to say hi, I trust we will bump into each other along the way...
Serenity knows me from the days of my previous ID, so this is just a character rehash with my musical interest and 'significant other' 'wishlist' thrown into it....

Ok so, be well, keep posting stuff on here if you fancy, no such thing as bad 70s music (even the Osmonds had crazy horses)....

Lau...grin ....

(Like i said......Jesus, lotto ticket!....)
I didn't pay to much attention on the radio or albums unless we were learning the tunes for our band.

Throughout the decades: Santana; Chicago; Doobie Bros; Earth, Wind and Fire! Just to mention a few when i played with Rock groups. When I played with Mexican bands: Sabor a Mi; Si lo Supieras; all different artists!
Not fimilar with that LP but its Good.

Music seems to have lost the other dimensional quality it had back then.

Was Phil Collins on drums for this Hes an awesome drummer thumbs up

Do you remember this one
I think This Piece of music more than any other Helped me discover who and were I was in the Universe. Part of something Bigthumbs up

Ed,
Santana head banger
NON!!!

Always good to see you!!!

What? No comment on "Si Lo Supieras"? hee hee JK
Ed
Si lo Supieras just gave it a listen. laugh
Hi Ed, ill try and take the time to look at your name-checks...thumbs up ...

At NS, Yeah, Albido 0.39, only Vangeles's second album, but what a brilliant piece of work...
So easy to see why he got the film soundtrack work with Bladerunner later on....
It was thanks to that album I got a very slight science education in 'reflective bodies' and 'orbital excentricity'...

Great post....Makes me wanna rummage through my 'cassettes', "how quaint"....

cheers
Sorry, I forgot, Phil did some drumming on TPOC, and so did John Lingwood (Whitesnake I believe)....

Also, check out the 'Phil Collons Big Band' with musical director Harry Kim, a side of Phil very few have heard or are aware of (sorta modern version of the Buddy Rich Orchestra)....thumbs up....
Bat out of Hell was the bike bursting from a grave asnt it, I remember it thumbs up
