I was taught to pray, believe and wait. If you ask a second time for the same thing, you either don't have faith or you are impatient.
Remember that God, in His eternal wisdom, does not always grant what we ask; He knows what is good and not good for us. If He does not comply with your wishes, praise Him for all your other blessings.
