Six interesting observations about Truth. All saying the same thing in different ways. Are these the first 6 Google results from doing a search on truth?
@KNegagh.... (I can only imagine how that would be pronounced!) Yep thanks for that explanation. I use Chrome and found the procedure was slightly different but got there in the end. Very interesting.
Exactly the way I feel about my own kids Abagail. It's been a few years now since they left home, but I still can't let go of the memories of their childhood and wishing those times were still here. Wine sounds like a good idea.
I can tell you that "blondes DO have more fun." The reason I know is that I have 2 daughters in their early 20's with mid-brown hair, (originally.) One bleached her hair blonde a few years ago and said she was amazed how much male attention she got! She persuaded her younger sister to also bleach her hair blonde and she agrees that the difference is very noticeable.
I agree with Welela, never ask others to approve or disapprove of you. You are who you are; your photos and what you write reflect the real you. The profile will attract one and repel the other. Obviously the one who is attracted will likely be more compatible with you.
No, where I think you've gone wrong is in this sentence: " does not shave himself; then by definition he must shave himself."
Ok, so he doesn't shave. The definition says he shaves only men who don't shave themselves - fine. But it does not say he HAS to shave ALL men who don't shave themselves. Hence, it is quite OK for him not to shave himself. No paradox.
Lively Waters and Chameleon, thank you very much for your responses and I'm sure Serendipity will have a response later. Yes, I'm a scientist, so I do tend to look at the world that way. LW, your paragraphs on space-time and infinity make sense, but I don't want to take over this blog by going into that. The average Christian is a very nice person, so I don't have any problems with them, but I myself have never experienced faith so it is hard to understand people who do. Cheers
Put me into the category "he didn't really die." It could take days to die by crucifiction unless/until the legs were broken. With broken legs the condemned could not hold their weight up any longer making it almost impossible to draw breath from the pressure on the ribcage. Since Jesus did not have his legs broken, it's unlikely he was dead when he was taken down. He had simply not been there long enough. As for moving the rock, maybe he had accomplices who drew the guards away and then moved the rock?
Hi Iza, that name, Paderborn rings a bell. I spent some years in the Netherlands and we went for a holiday to the area around Paderborn. This was in the 60's
