The Blind Love

Long long ago.... when humans did not exist yet....Virtues and vices were traveling the world together. One day they felt bored ... very bored...

The virtue Innovation, suggested a game …he called hide and seek. Everyone loved the idea and all of them wanted to play...

Madness said: "I will be the one closing my eye and all of you shall hide!" As no one was mad enough to say no to Madness.. Thus, he closed his eyes and started counting...one...two...three... Then the virtues and vices started hiding...

Kindness found her hiding place on the moon...
Betrayal hid himself in a pile of trash....
Passion went above the clouds...
Nostalgia went deep down under ground...
Deceit shouted loudly and said “I will hide myself under the rocks” but instead he went to the lake and went deep down...

And while Madness kept counting.... seventy nine... eighty... eighty one...every one found there place of hiding except...Love

As usual she is not decisive, thus she did not find a place to hide... this fact is not surprising to anyone...we know how it is hard to hide Love when it truly exists..

Madness continued counting...ninety eight...ninety nine...
and when it reached one hundred... Love jumped into a garden of roses and hid there... Madness then opened his eyes and shouted: “I will find you all... I will come after you all...” In fact, Madness was mad enough...

Laziness was the first to be found... because he did not put effort in hiding himself...Kindness then appeared from the moon...Deceit then popped out of the lake as he was out of breath....

He found them all.... one after the other, except Love.
He almost gave up looking for her...However, Jealousy reached out to Madness and revealed the whereabouts of Love... “She is hiding between the roses” he said....

Madness then ... madly picked up a wooden stick and started to poke hardly on the roses... He did not stop until he heard a crying voice.....Love appeared out from the roses covering her bleeding eyes....

“Oh my God, what have I done to you...Please forgive me… What can I do for you” he said to Love...

She replied saying, “It is okay... just be my guide from now on...” and this is the reason why ever since, Love is blind and guided by Madness......
