Graduation time!

I was in Oregon last week attending my Granddaughters graduation from high school. As I looked at her and her mother, who is my daughter, I thought back in time about this miracle.

I remember arriving in San Diego, CA and holding this newborn child in my arms. I sat on the couch with my daughter and I looked back and forth at my sweet little grandchild and her Mom. My beautiful daughter.

I remembered the birthdays and the fun visits as she grew up. Three years old then 8 then ll and then finally a teenager and getting ready to enter her freshman year in school. Then I remember how time slipped away and here I was in Oregon to celebrate the final days of her high school. The preparation for college where she will major in Biochemistry/Biophysics. My sweet little baby a National Honor Society student graduating with honors.

I didn't cry. I smiled with happiness at the achievements she had worked for and earned. Each time she climbed the steps for her awards I beamed happiness.

Yeppers! Life is good! Thank you Jesus! you get all praise and credit! Amen!!

Thanks for the great greetings and salutations!

HI INDIA!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear from you. The party was last friday attended by her other G-Pop & Mom and a bunch of relatives and pals and HS pals. One of her pals was a young Chinese woman that graduated with her.

Her story is quite interesting and also one of true blessings. It seems her parents, who live in China, have 7 more daughters. And they gave all the kids up for adoption. I am not sure if she knows more than that or if she has contact with her parents or siblings. But her story is great also. An adoptee also graduating with honors.

It was a great time and the food was great!!!!!

Gotta go now and shower and do some grocery shopping. I'll answer everyone else when I get back.
