There is a tree in Hilo, Hawaii that has a plack on it with Amelia Earhart's name on it. What is the name of the road with that tree and plack on it, as well as the name of the type of tree it is? There is also an island within a quarter mile of that tree. What is the name of that island?

Hint #1. (05/13/09) The first word in the name of the island has 7 letters in it. To get to it one can either walk across the walk bridge, swim, or by boat. The island is great for picnics, concerts, or simply relaxing on. The town of Hilo can be seen nicely from it.

So sorry, answer is Banyan Drive in Hilo Hawaii

Actually the first banyan tree planted in Hawaii came
from India and was planted on Maui, my bad
