climate change vs Philippines disasters

i am thankful to Mr. Sano,a commissioner of climate change commission during UN conference held in warsaw poland..
yes it is true that due to climate change my homeland devastated by the typhoons, hitted by the earthquakes and disturbed our volcanoes a months ago.
Philippines is situated in an equator hence we are prone to natural disasters..

“Despite global warming during the 20th century the number of tropical cyclones annually making landfall in the Philippines did not experience any net change. All variability was merely oscillatory activity around a mean trend of zero slope”

from Kubota, H. and Chan, J.C.L. 2009. Interdecadal variability of tropical cyclone landfall in the Philippines from 1902 to 2005. Geophysical Research Letters 36: 10.1029/2009GL038108.

I go with Daniel on this one. The devastation I have seen in the news is unbeleviable. Very very sad indeed.
If you go back in history our little earth has always been changing. Ice age seas flooding the land and separating again. Then heat and droughts. It is very sad moping hug teddybear
Yep! Pretty bad. All the people at work had their eyes glued to the TV at break time concerned for the Philippine people affected!

Prayers for all of you!
You should neither underestimate nor overestimate what people can do and change in this world.

U did not hear of hurricanes this year in the Caribbean.

The Philippines r situated on the Pacific Fire Belt which has nothing to do with typhoons but with earthquakes and volcanic activity.

It is nice to live in the tropics even more at the seaside but it seems u do not get it for free.
Take it like an accident.

USA are playing with climit control devices, blame them.
I hope that they get help to all the people there soon.
The climate change is not gonna change.

I think that preparing practical solutions would be better than think about diffuse theories.
Steffie ..did I say anything abt your country? I cant say from where you are getting those figures out and where you read it ..Journalists make a big issue out of the small one..if it really have happened I could hv read it in newspapers or on tv ,,but never I heard it for some few years ..Maybe you got your eyes on something which was too old ..check the date ..I cant talk abt bihar becoz yes I admit it has lot of issues to be solved...we have 7 union territories and 28 states and every states has a chief minister ..so lot of things may not come in lime lite...its not America its India keep that in mind...and have u ever gone to phil ask some of ur friends who have gone there they can tell u the real picture of phil...the Americans russians autralians japanaes chinese or anyone visiting there make a video and post it on youtube they even post lot of blogs abt their experiences when they go to visit phil..I didnt say anything bad ..thats the truth
