Deutsch sprechen ...
Mission nearly impossibleA few months in Austria and my personal teacher -my husband- and I still have huge 'issues' when it comes to communicate with others in german...
I think it's gonna drive me insane but ..eventually I MUST learn.
Got an A1 certification -after a SuperIntensive Course of One month- with an Excellent score -90 out of 100, wich means 'Sehr Gut'-.
For me hehehe
Step ONE finished. Im proud of myself.
I stil have a long way to go when it comes to german...
Little by little...

Du bist eine sehr gute Schülerin! You are a very good pupil!
After relocating my 11 year old son is in process to learn German as well - we're having a lot of fun with his "r", "ck", "sch" and you know those letters you can't find on an American keyboard.
I assume German is your first foreign language and I can only imagine how challenging this is but hey, you'll get there. Besides you've already come a long way with that Certification!
Have you tried listen to German music? I find that a great tool to learn any language and there are some great German bands and songwriter out there.
It's not aneasy Language to learn!
I am glad I had to learn English as a Second Language instead of German!
