I Like Newspapers!
Hey! Call me old fashioned. Call me the old dog that refuses to learn new tricks. But I just can't get used to the "news" on the internet.These sites have a fancy wancy banner. That's ok. They have tons of ads. That's ok because I don't read the ads anyway. They have videos which don't affect me one way or the other. But let me tell you what chaps my hide.
While your reading a subject the computer is loading with more ads, pop-up window garbage and, I mean, you name it. There's something to make the article your reading hop back to the beginning, disappear for a moment, jump around and flash on and off.
What they hey! I'm sticking to newspapers. At least they don't move. They stay perfectly still while you read them. And none of the above trash mentioned that,well...., "chaps my hide"!!

I use an ad blocker so the adverts are no problem.
Part of my morning ritual is looking at certain online news sites and checking what you good people of the blogs are doing.
And to be honest I enjoy the latter much much more

Well, yeah, now I seldom read the news. I just feel most of it is bad, only few are heartwarming.

almost 3 decades by car and read what i deliver.. The obits still
sell papers and yes readership is slowly declining the Sunday paper will never go away.. The computer is ok for glamourous
stories far off but for local news u cant beat the paper. And the ads are good for saving money..
