He Came With Magical Chemistry Set

I'm pretty sure you all, are familiar with Beatles song "Magical Mistery Tour". Well yesterday I had kind of magical stuff. A salesman came yesterday to tell me how bad is the water I've been drinking, is a water filter salesperson. To show me how bad is my water, he opened up his magical chemistry set. This magical set turned my tap water into different colors, yellow, blue, red. He performed some other tricks with his magical chemistry set, this time he used his own filter and those magical liquids. Through his filter, my tap water turned amber, green, and grey. For my surprised and according to him grey was the normal, and my tap water was cleaned up. I said to him, Mr. I thought I was nut, but you just won the first place.
The price for this water system, $5,665.

Are we in a real world?shock

Bung, you gave the poor guy such a hard time...

That water filter reminds me when I first apply for a job...weeks before I graduated from University my friend and I were so excited to finally apply for a job...we applied to the first vacancy we saw, sales job, during interview they said, if we could pass the test, then we're in. The test was to sell water filter for 2,500 pesos, which is almost 50 dollars, that was 15 years ago. I didn't go out knocking on someone's else to sell it, my cousin did me a favor and bought it so I can get the job...I gave them the money and lost interest and didn't even work there. Few weeks later, right after graduation,I got a job as a sales coordinator, this time for leathergoods, didn't involved knocking on strangers' doors, thank God!grin
I buy my water by the gallon from the Reverse osmosis machine at the local health food store. It is 25-35 cents a gallon, so barely over $1 a week on average. At maybe $60 a year, that would take a very long time to ever come close to the cost of that sales pitch.
