Rules of the House or Desperation of a Parent

Rules of the House
Rules meant to help your development into an organized, functional young person and eventual adult

Rule # 1: ALL clothes will hung up at ALL times. This includes Sweatshirts, jackets, your white work clothes and sweaters to be specific. ALL clothes, mean ALL clothes. This includes ALL laundry done on the weekends will be HUNG UP IMMEDIATELY.

*Exception: ONLY clothes that are worn around the house may be in a DRAWER or in the white basket on top of draws. Don’t abuse this by everything in the basket, I’ll know.

RULE #2: ALL socks, bras and those things you call underwear, are to be in a DRAWER at ALL TIMES. Thongs, bras and socks on the floor are just sloppy.

*Exception: you may have, from time to time,
one (1) SMALL pile of clothes right in front of your drawers, which will be sorted every couple (2days) of days and either placed in your dirty hamper outside your door or placed in the white basket if they are “house clothes”. Don’t abuse this exception.

RULE#3. Bedding will be place ON THE BED in the morning. NOTHING is EVER to be around your computer, stereo and bed SIDE area - EVER. This includes trash, pencils, pens, clothing of any kind, pillows, blankets, cds’ or anything else not mentioned here. We have places for the aforementioned i.e. trash cans, hampers, bins and cases

**We DO NOT USE THE FLOOR
as an organizing entity (entity means:
a bin, drawer, basket, hanger, trash, dirty clothes hamper, case or any other proper place to place things.

Failure to follow these rules to live by will result in a failure of your privileges including:

*YOUR CAR
*YOUR MOVIES
*YOUR FRIENDS
*YOUR LIFE as you know it
In other words i.e. . .you will be living in the mess you created – ALONE, since you like it so much and are unable to follow simple rules.

Thank you – The Management

Please keep these rules posted for your use and abidance (abidance means by the rules).
