Why can't she be both?
I wouldn't pay much attention to such men, they think this is a shopping mall.wink
Welela you're right girllaugh rolling on the floor laughing
Ken some people aren't both dear unfortunately
Let me try to help you with that ...

Someone who they can talk to ...sometimes without words...
its not about the years spent in school or what our society has accepted as "education"
agree with dedo... can be someone with good manner beside academic wise
Thanks for your comments Dido and Smartiehug
Comparison is a disease which has no treatment....both are authorities unto itself...comfort
Well some women are both.
Beyond that, usually what is meant is we want someone we can talk to about the world and events in it beyond her Facebook page and what happened or who DJ'd at the Rave she went to last week. without her giving you a blank look and saying, huh? I work with one of the Huh? type who is blank eyed about everything from payroll issues to who is President. Yes, sadly she is indeed blond haired.
Generally, they mean formal education.

How much formal education, will depend on their culture

and often their own level of education.
Education is learned.

Intelligence is natural.
I'm still with Welela guys This is not a shopping I think people should accept people the way are

not by their level of education

Unfortunately this is a dating site and that means it very much IS a shopping mall. Those of us in here are presumably looking for a potential partner for life. One selects the best they can. Hopefully the one they are interested in thinks they too meet a standard. It is in truth a competitive environment for those seeking a mate. The more you can claim or show off appropriately the more folks will look. Do I wish I could claim Doctorates degrees in my profile? Sure. But I don't because there are none. However someone out there may get Miss Right who passed on by my profile because of that one fact, when the one she sent an email too has the kind of education she seeks. So it IS competitive (just like everything else in life is) and it IS shopping, and maybe if one is uncomfortable with that they should reconsider how they are playing the game of life and what are their goals.
Advice often given is to be clear about what you want and don't want on an internet dating site, so education is a fair thing to include in your profile.
In would understand this to mean "beyond high school" such as a university degree or a college diploma, but you'd have to ask the individual.
