RE: Hobbies

I used to collect lots of things.

I hsd stamps from all over the world. I used to love the bright colourful ones from exotic islands in the sun.

I used to also collect coins.

I'm sure if I did a good search in my dad's house, my collection would still be there somewhere.

Maybe one of them is now worth a fortune idea

RE: You do not meet her contact requirements

Zen, don't lose your idealism, just search for someone else who shares your views.
We have seen matches here of people far away from each other geographically but close together in their values. They have made it work.

RE: You do not meet her contact requirements

Idealistic considerations are all well and good, as well as lovely and fluffy, but they must match the other person's considerations as well.

It is easier to be idealistic if you can afford it too smile

RE: Coming or going?

Poor and pore pronounced the same??
Not here.

But we do use ye for 2nd person plural.

We also inadvertently translate English from Irish.
So for example, an English person would say 'I have already eaten dinner' . We'd say 'I'm after dinner '

RE: Coming or going?

It depends what country you have done your learning.

RE: Ghosted or benched?

Pumpkin mush is better than gaslighting laugh

RE: Ghosted or benched?

I had never heard about benching before this blog laugh

But since chatting to someone is just that, chatting, I don't think one can have any expectation of monogamous chat.

RE: Remember the Carnivals when you were a kid?

Is it because she kissed a girl.. and liked it?

RE: Ghosted or benched?

I guess it depends how interested you are in them in the first place.
If it's just casual chat then it wouldn't matter either way.
If you were interested in them and they did it, then they aren't worth bothering with again.
