RE: A Perfect Storm

you think they should be hired to go to all the beauty spots this weekend?

RE: A Perfect Storm

Now would be a good time to go so.
There wouldn't be many bagpipers around right now.

RE: A Perfect Storm

I also hear it has the darkest of mountains with valleys of green

RE: A Perfect Storm

I like the word mull.
It reminds me of Kintyre.
Not that I've ever been there or anything.

RE: A Perfect Storm

I think you might have been snooty

I shall mull over it tonight.

RE: A Perfect Storm

It was Tull mentioned anaconda, not me smile

RE: A Perfect Storm

Thinking of tinned anaconda, there used to be a delicacy over there of jellied eel.
I think I'd prefer tinned anaconda.

RE: A Perfect Storm

They don't sell tinned anaconda in Britain. As far as I know anyway.

RE: A Perfect Storm

The qualities of sardines.

RE: A Perfect Storm

Jac, you should add that to your CV - taller than a sardine.
And proud of it .

RE: psychological effects of isolation

As every country has varying stages of lockdown, it is difficult to compare like with like.
I'd probably crack up if I were in China or Spain.
But my own experience is, I'm loving it.
Sure, there are disadvantages, the main one being able to meet people I care about at close quarters. I hate the fact that people are sick and dying. I am hating the uncertainty of how long it will last.
But apart from that, I am loving not having to go into work every day.
I am loving not being tied to a schedule.
I am loving taking the dogs for a walk when I feel like it.
I am loving having time to tidy up the garden with a view to planting veg shortly.
I am loving most things about it really.

RE: A Perfect Storm

I would leave the sardines a la creme and Kiev for another perfect storm I think uh oh

Stick them on a toasted bagel and you'll be grand

RE: The Isolation Blog

I think all countries will have to improve how they produce and distribute goods.
If China is adversely affected by this, then the US, Spain and Italy will definitely be as well.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Let's hope that doesn't happen to the more affected countries as well.

RE: Yay!

Hands washed.
Do I really have to type that name? moping

RE: The Isolation Blog

I guess it'll have to last until we are allowed to be horrible again blues

RE: Fridge Magnets

Har, it sounds like one of those headlines on a cheap rag magazine.

I fell in love with a frigid midget.
We now have 3 giant daughters who are eating us of house and home.

RE: Fridge Magnets
