When I moved into the house I made a deal with spiders. I know they are there. I know they won't cause me any harm, but I still don't like them. Therefore, I made a deal with them that they can live in my house as long as they stay out of my bedroom. Although I am now on the great, great,great,great,great,great,great(okay, I really don't want to think of how many spiders have been in the house ) grandchildren, they have by and large kept their side of the bargain.
The only spiders who are immune to any threats are the September spiders. Those are the super-heavyweights of the spider world. They slowly strut across the floor without a care in the world. They will even stop to taunt you to do something about them. You won't.
Luckily, those monsters are only around at the end of the summerfor a limited time.
Unluckily, it is now nearly the end of the summer (gulp)
I tend to choose the courses I do. That means I both get to do courses I am interested in, and also bypass any senior managerial need, or quota, to send me on a course I have no interest in. Be a step ahead of them and volunteer to do some interesting ones
Just because the younger one wants kids at some stage doesn't mean to say you will be the father. You only know her a few weeks. Anything could happen.
Plus, as you say you are an honest person, then let her know that you don't want to be a father again. That will allow her to go find a younger man who does want kids before you get too involved.
We have a temperate climate, it rarely gets too hot or too cold. It rarely hits 30c in summer or below zero in winter. I don't think I could handle 10 months of intense cold. I'd die.
A friend of mine used to have a bald girlfriend. Although it suits nobody as well as it did Sinead O'Connor with those amazing eyes, it wouldn't bothet me one way or the other. It's what's inside is more important.
It was common practice to appease the gods with both human and animal sacrifice. It was often the enemy who was sacrificed, or a leader who reigned during a particularly bad harvest.
I doubt many did it willingly, or gave up family members willingly.
