Ooby, I recognise a lot of their names but don't know anything about them.
Except Glat, I remember her last posts (if they weren't berating Pedro ) were about the fact that she had met someone on here, was giving up her job and moving to Spain to live with him. Hopefully all went well with those plans..
Fay, there is no right or wrong answer to this question which has no answer. I believe in the right to die with dignity if the choice is there, and the person has the capacity to make that choice. But some people would always choose to battle it out to the very end anyway.
Think of it as the illness as having no dignity, not your father. He is still a man with his dignity and pride.
If you haven't already read it, read Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.
It was some old woman in her 80s or something, possibly in Spain. She decided to 'fix' an ancient painting in her local church, and that was the result
I think people do need to believe in something. Especially to explain what is currently unexplainable. Religions stepped in fill that gap in knowledge by attributing them to supernatural sources. I don't agree with any religion which puts the supernatural over people and our fellow inhabitants of this planet. Nor those who put the next life before this one. We do not know whether supernatural beings or afterlife exist, but we do know that real people and this life does. We should concentrate on these. If believing in the supernatural helps people treat others and every living creature better, then believe. Unfortunately, the opposite often seems to be the way it goes. The more extreme the religious belief, the worse they treat other living creatures.

Give up now.She had no interest in you before all this happened, she certainly hasn't now.
Learn from the experience, and hope it helps you to act more maturely if another woman ever comes into your life.
