We are all going to die, and as such are all living on borrowed time. Some are living closer to that time to be sure. But they too would have lived longer if they hadn't got the virus. So their deaths due to the virus have to be counted as such.
Dan, I never thought you were a saint I avoid antibiotics as much as I can too. But if I do have to take them, I quickly restock on good bacteria to balance it out.
I would think the numbers are deflated if anything. Different countries have different criteria for it. Some only count deaths in hospitals, not home or nursing home deaths. The actual number is probably way higher than the official count.
Usha, I adore food Daytime eating doesn't bother me either way, but I love a nice dinner in the evening. I try to get my fruit intake in during the day, and my veg with dinner. I am not a huge meat eater, but I love fish, and try to get a few portions of oily fish in every week. I wouldn't bother drinking wine with a meal of I'm alone, but when I have company or go out for a meal (that feels like it was in another life now ) I do enjoy sharing a bottle of nice wine.
Usha, I don't consider McDonalds and KFC to fall within the realm of 'food
But I believe in everything in moderation. I know Daniela can live without alcohol and the other evils of life and that is brilliant for her, but I enjoy the evils of life I would make a very bad hermit who lives to 119 but lives a very clean and chaste life. I love food, I love going out to restaurants. I enjoy wine and other drinks. I unfortunately have a terrible sweet tooth too That is the one thing I have to work to moderate. But as for the rest, I like to live well, eat good food, drink good wine and enjoy every second of it. But I do generally live a relatively healthy life by balancing it all.
Sugar If we could avoid that, our guts would be a lot healthier. People who eat a lot of ready-meals or processed foods are putting so much sugar into their bodies, and this is apart from the sugar we are aware we are eating - cakes, biscuits, sweets etc. Convenience food is awash with sugar which our bodies cannot handle.
I think the FDA Commissioner should have agreed whole heartedly with his suggestion, and then suggest that Trump be the first to benefit from his own wisdom and intelligence.
Firstly, as you say, many people do not have a strong knowledge of history. Even those that do, are often only taught history of their own country and that is a very limited knowledge of human history. That's not even taking into account that history is usually written, and taught, with a slant an agenda. One has to read widely and have an open mind to absorb all sides of history. Seeing it from the former enemies point of view, or from a totally objective point of view can be hard to take.
As for being always living in a disinfected world, I don't think that is particularly good for the health either. People do not build up a proper immune system if everything is disinfected and ultra-clean. There is a happy medium.
Z, maybe even more people would have died without it
Of course soap works better than sanitisers, but when we are out and about, there is no access to soap and water. That's when hand sanitisers are used. I never go anywhere without mine.
That doesn't surprise me. I have turned to TCM regularly. When it sorts whatever the issue is, I often question myself why I ever go to a western doctor
The hand sanitiser will be back on the shelves again before long. In the meantime, it is easy to make your own homemade one. It works just as well and it's easy to make. You are doing very well with the kids. It isn't easy, but you're doing well
RE: The Frigid Midgets
Can I buy an early-bird ticket to the premiere please?
