I agree that it would be more likely for younger people, who would be more directly affected by the issue, to vote yes. But overall, it covered all generations and social classes. So approximately 66% of the overall 60% that voted, voted in favour.
It was still only 66.4% that voted yes in the referendum. Any other statistics are only from surveys and exit polls. The % that voted to repeal the amendment was the one above, not either 90% or 92% as you stated.
