And it isn't about politics
I used to go into a local store and buy the complete set....in duplicate.
Two complete sets.
I put the duplicate sealed sets in the original store bag along with the receipt.
I tied off the bag. I never opened them.
I still have them. The rookie cards alone are probably worth a lot by now.

I hsd stamps from all over the world. I used to love the bright colourful ones from exotic islands in the sun.
I used to also collect coins.
I'm sure if I did a good search in my dad's house, my collection would still be there somewhere.
Maybe one of them is now worth a fortune
When ebay first started I was buying and selling full time but I eventually developed other interests.
I love collecting vintage men, errr...I mean, trays
I have close to 60 vintage enamel trays of various sizes. It could have been more if not for the fact I had to relocate to join Art. I brought along like 20 of them in hope that my Arty will see that they will be mounted to the kitchen wall...still keeping my fingers and toes crossed!!
