Shot Dead!....

This is great news! This is marvelous news! This is powerful news! PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE THE LORD!. The cowards got what they deserved! They reaped what they had sown. DEATH!

A member of Al Qaeda's branch in Yemen said the group directed the massacre at a Paris magazine, hours after near simultaneous raids by French police on Friday killed the two Islamist brothers behind the attack and another terrorist.

The raids, conducted at locations 25 miles apart, took out Cherif and Said Kouachi and a suspect in a policewoman's killing who had seized hostages at a Paris grocery on the brothers' behalf, but also left four hostages dead, according to authorities and reports from the scene.

The Al Qaeda member on Friday provided a statement in English to The Associated Press saying "the leadership of AQAP directed the operations and they have chosen their target carefully."

There was no independent confirmation of the report, and U.S. intelligence and counterterrorism officials say it is too early to conclude who is responsible for the massacre on Wednesday that left 12 dead.

However, Cherif Kouachi told a French TV station before Friday's raid at an industrial park that he was sent by Al Qaeda in Yemen and had been financed by the cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed by a U.S. airstrike in Yemen in 2011.

If confirmed, the attack would be the first time Al Qaeda's branch in Yemen has successfully carried out an operation in the West after at least two earlier attempts.

The Al Qaeda member said the attack was in line with warnings from the late Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden to the West about "the consequences of the persistence in the blasphemy against Muslim sanctities," adding that it was "revenge for the honor" of Islam's Prophet Muhammad, which the satirical Charlie Hebdo had occasionally lampooned.

The lightning-quick strikes earlier Friday ended two tense, hours-long standoffs, one at a printing plant north of the city and the other at a kosher supermarket on Paris' east side, where four hostages were killed, as many as 15 were freed. A hostage held north of the city by the brothers, who killed 12 in a commando-style attack at the offices of Charlie Hebdo, was reportedly freed. The fast-moving developments, signaled by explosions and gunfire at a printing plant in Dammartin-en-Goele, followed by similar sounds at Hypercacher (Hyper Kosher), a Jewish supermarket in eastern Paris, brought to a climax a three-day terror ordeal and manhunt involving nearly 90,000 police and military personnel.

You must ready to take reply.......when poor people feels safe ?????
My regard to that brave officers who killed them.
If of course they killed the right people. Lot of pressure from the media to have scapegoats and a successful conclusion.
if we can't educate...we eradicate...its the only way, and there is no way you can educate these seeming educated people..so to the gas chambers they must go.
God is great..didn't he allow them to carry out such crimes....sorry I'm confused..why didn't he let them die in a car crash before they made the killings..God knows everything doesn't he ?..some one explain why god allowed these god fearing people to commit this. What answers do you have ?
Such a loving and charitable blog, it must be wonderful to be a christian and cheer when a human dies.

Doesn't it say in the bible to love thy neighbour.

Your comments are no better than those made by the very people you are laughing at!!!!

It is a shame we have to destroy people...either way...it is a sad day...but we do need to protect ourselves...it is probably going to persist unfortunately...
I don't agree.
For in your fairy world god should have intervened before there were deaths.
So you shouldn't praise him after 17 people died and somewhat in his name murdered or self-proclaimed sacrificed.

I don't agree.
I would have preferred these murderers to be caught alive and trialled by us humans.
This happened for instance with the Norway Breivik case. and it gives the society more peace.

I would have wanted a decent research and examination and a court to speak out against it.
Or to find out who is behind the shadows giving these idiots guns.
I'm curious how you punish some murder like this in a modern society.
I'm curious how a courtcase can prevent more of this.
The continually changing reporting of what happened and who did what in the Paris case is kind of fascinating to me.

Last night the tale had changed yet again. Previously it was being reported two attackers shot the policewoman and one of them was the female holed up in the market with the hostages. Then we were told she had magically escaped when the police entered. Last night, as I went to bed we were told no, actually she was not in the store. This morning we are told she had nothing to do with any of it and on the day of the attacks she was actually someplace in the mid East. Also, any reports of two people being involved in the shooting of the police woman were wrong reports and there was only the one attacker.

I am also noting that in the midst of the celebrations today there already exists a stated government reluctance to make and publish any kind of after action report examining break downs in intelligence, surveillance, or law enforcement response and tie it all together as a means of preventing similar break downs. In short, no French 9/11 Commission, just business as usual as if nothing went wrong.
