The Call of Wisdom
Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city she speaks her words: “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my Spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, and would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, when your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, they would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.” says, the Most High Lord God of Israel.Proverbs chapter 1

Right Wenever, yet God's word of truth remains the same! We may deny His truth, but God will never deny Himself or what He speaks... He is a Promise Keeper, He doesn't make threats, but keeps His promises. The choice is our to receive the blessings for obedience or suffer the consequences for our sins of disobedience.

It is always humbling to read this passage, concerning the Call of Wisdom. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of understanding this great wisdom, in which we are truly blessed to know.
For it is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She (wisdom) is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her (Pro. 3:14:15).

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy- think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

YES, Free YOUR Mind and THINK... The first con-man was a thief and the first fool said in his heart THERE IS NO GOD. Therefore, they BOTH WERE SINNERS AND NEEDED A SAVIOR FOR THE REMISSION OF THEIR SINS! That's why Jesus died on the cross for the FORGIVENESS OF SINS OF BOTH SINNERS, FOR THE THIEF AND THE FOOL UPON REPENTANCE!...duuuh!
My question to you is, which one are you?... the thief or the fool?? You choose this day, because you too, need a Savior.
