Those annoying missing pictures of people on this

why would a person choose to be on a singles site and not have his/her picture up with the profile information? I skip over the missing picture profiles because i like to see what a person looks like when i am looking for someone to possibility go out with. I know that it doesn't matter what a person looks like if you just want to say Hi and go on. This is a singles connection site and a picture is required to help connect people. The "mystery man" photos do nothing for me. It's like being in a beauty pagent and having a bag over your head! You may be a great person with many interests and talents, but if you don't post your picture how can a person tell if the attraction is there? i can only imagine meeting a man for the first time after talking to him on here for weeks only to see that i am not attracted to him. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the beholder has to see it first! So, men and women, please get those beautiful pictures of yourselves up there!
