your health is priceless

makeup, underarm rollons/sprays,full body lotions, creams, shampoos, hair dyes, hair gel, shower gel, talcum powder, toothpaste, aftershave, perfumes, something for everyone, yet do you ever wonder what happens when you put these products on your skin?well it ends up in your blood stream, and the problem with that is many of the product ingrediance are toxic and carcinogen.

i dont think many people even think about this after all we all want to look feel and smell good.
unless your using a natural sun cream your more likely to get cancer from the cream than the sun.

most woman love makeup and why not,but regular users can use up to 5lbs a year, thats alot of toxins, even shampoos are tested and recognised as toxic and cacinogen.

so whats the answer?
keep it as natural as possible, and be aware of what you put on your skin, your health is priceless so keep away from harmful products

keep it real, sickness is not cheap, stay healthy..

all very valid claims, I started using organic deodorant to eliminate some the chemicals and don't wash my hair every day like I use to. There are many many carcinogens that doesn't get much publicity, so the manufactures keep on producing. I think Europe has a better handle on this than the US......
Been using the same products for a long time and I'm as healthy as a horse.grin
15 years ago, a doctor told my friend that he only got 2 years to live and told him not to do this, not to do that, not to eat this not to eat that...

he said that since he only got 2 years left he will make the most out of it...he did everything he wanted, he ate everything he wanted...didn't go to see his doctor anymore...

he's still alive and enjoying his life! wine teddybear
Labels on cosmetics and body care products are a tough code to crack. The industry is so shockingly unregulated that it’s usually impossible to trust the claims that manufacturers place on their products. A word such as “natural” can be used by anyone for anything. Even “organic” is misleading. Companies are supposed to use an organic label only if all ingredients are certified-organic, but they can also say it’s “made with organic” if it contains a minimum of 70 percent certified-organic ingredients. Regardless, 30 percent still leaves a lot of room for toxins.

The whole industry has a “innocent-till-proven-guilty” approach to ingredients. Unless a chemical used in beauty products is proven to cause harm to human health, it is classified as GRAS, or “generally recognized as safe.” This classification is upheld by the U.S. FDA and hardly has the best interests of consumers at heart.

The best thing we consumers can do is read ingredient lists carefully in order to avoid chemicals that are known to be harmful, even though they continue to be widely used.
