Well That Happened To Me Quite A While Ago
To Be Exact..Around 36 Years Ago
I Was 25(I Think) And Had A Party At My Apartment
Smoking Pot...And Drinking Was The Norm Then
About 30 People Were There
Little By Little..People Started Leaving(Leaving Behind Some Of The People That Came With Them)
And Before I Knew It...It Was Just Me That Was Left.... And 7 Girls
Now...These Girls All Lived On The Other Side Of Town..And They Wanted To Go Home And Needed A Ride
Okay...I Had No Choice...So I Gave Them A Ride Back
When We Were Almost Back...A Cop Car Came Up Behind Me ...With His Lights A Flashing...I Stopped...And The Cop Walked Over To My Car
And Said...."What Ta Hell Do You Think Your Doing?!"
I Told Him What Happened(That They Were Left At My Party By Others Who Had Brought Them) And That There Was No Other Way For Me To Get These Girls Back To Where They Lived
He Looked At All The Girls...Then.... He Looked At Me
And There Was A Minutes Pause ...Of The Cop Just Staring At This Circus
And After That Pause... He Looked At Me... And Said
"Get Ta Hell Out Of Here!"...And Went Back To His Car And Left
I Got Away With It!!!
At This Point...You Must Be Thinking..."Whats The Big Deal Here?"

I Was Driving An MGB(2 Seater)The Top Was Down...And Why The Cop Stopped Me... Was Because
There Was Me(In The Drivers Seat)
2 Girls In The Passenger Seat(1 Sitting On The Others Lap)
And Five Girls Sitting On The Back Of The MGBs Trunk(With Their Feet Inside)..It Was So Far Out There...That I Got Away With It!!....8 People...In An MGB!!

I was a crazy driver in Finland,getting big tickets all the time and once they took my license for I month,still driving to the Police station to give it and driving back to get it again and of course driving hole the month without license and when some people ask me how I can drive like that without license,I answered,that you don't need the licence to drive a car.
Anyway there was once a small private car following me once and I put more speed,but it still followed and as I did that several times,I had soon the speed I could do with my supposed fast car....in the curves they could not follow me,but on the strait part they came back closer....it was going on like that for about 20 km and I could not understand how that car was able to make that speed.
Then I saw a hand coming out from the window and put the police light on the roof.....yes,they had put a Porsche motor in that simple car.....so they told me in the Police car,that I had drive slower earlier,where there was higher speed limit,but that my speed came higher following the lowering speed limits and that in the end I had had 165 km speed where the speed limit was 80 km,to what I protested and said,that I know very well my car and that it can not make more than 162....when the Police said again,that it was in fact 165,I said," ok,lets go and try again"to what he said,"we don't try anything anymore".
He did not make me a ticket,but put me to go and meet the Police Leader in my own district....and when I met that Police Leader,he said to me"do you know,that the Police on the road could had take your license from you,there on the road" and then he talk to me seriously,that I should not do that again,put a ticket in my hand and let me go with my license in my pocket.....so 2 Police did the same thing,even they can put you to make a driving test again,what is such a expensive and at least take it away for 1 month.
But Why Did you Think Someone Was following you?
And why Did you keep going Faster?
If I thought Someone Was following me
I Would Have Gotten off The Highway
And went Around The Block
If They follow?
Then You Know Youre being followed
But No

I Was Coming Back From A Concert With My Girlfriend
And Yes...We Were Both Loaded(High)
And I Guess I Was Speeding... When I Was Stopped By A Cop
He Checked My License And Registration
And Gave Them Back To Me(He Had To Have Known I Was Impaired)
After Checking Everything Out In The Police Car...He Came Back To My Car
And He Said
"Just Take It Easy Sir"
"And Try To Drive A Little Slower"(No Ticket)
(And Then He Said)
"By The Way Sir"
"It Would Be A Good Idea... To Put That Bag Of Pot You Have There Sticking Out From Under Your Leg... In A Better Place Than That"
And He Left
Today?
You Go To Jail For That(Driving Under The Influence)
And Your Car Is Towed(And All Sorts Of Other Trouble)
Yeah...The Cops Were A Lot Better Back Then....................

You are right,it is really funny,that people are talking about peace and understanding,when in fact there are no common reactions anymore,everything is to the point and even more than the rules,very robot like....very different from earlier.

It is the same with the music,it was Human too.....I pick up all the old singers and music from past,before my Grandson came here and believe me or not,most of them he had never heard about and to my surprise he told me that they are so very nice.
Everyone Is Talking On Phones As They drive

I Can Look Back When We didnt have Mobile phones
And We Got Along Fine With Our Lives

If You Wanted to Call Your local Pot Dealer
You Went To a phone Booth............................
And The Dealer said hed call You Back
Youd wait At The phone booth For The Phone To Ring
Then They Went To Phone Booths That You Could Only call Out On
And That Made it a lot harder To Buy Pot
(Unless You Kept Going To The Guys House To see if he Was Home)
And he Wouldnt like That Because The neighbors Would see The "Traffic"
And Possibly alert The cops
And hed get Busted...........................
I Can Think of Someone else In This Same situation
And It Never Went On This road
The Only road I Found Myself On Through Out All of It Was
