To love or be loved?

I think this is very difficult problem to solve! the majority of women like to be loved first to show their kindness! I dont know really when and how this tradition entered to human relationship! But it is very normal, you can find it in other mammal 's relationships! it is very normal in animals that the male is looking for female!
But it is my question: why human wants to be similar to other animals!? we are intelligent and we are wise! Does it help us to be different? does it help us to choose what we want?
