Masks
Thinking about relationships, friendships make me wanna cry. I have tons of friends that's for sure but real friends I have a few.I have realized that I would rather be with people who are brave enough to admit to themselves that they are not perfect and thereby exposing the truth about themselves nad who they really are rather than with people who wear thick masks to cover up themselves for the fear of rejection. I abhor people who claim that they are my friends yet afraid to tell me their thoughts and show who they really are as a person, who cover themselves with paint and show what they are not.
I have always been very open about myself to anyone as I am aware that if people will not like me because of who I really am then I can not do anything, we have our own preferences.
Wearing masks to cover or hide what we really are as a person just to please people is very sad. You will never know who your true friends are and you will eventually lose your identity as a person. As they say, you can never hide from the world all your life. At one point in your life, everything about you will be exposed. So as early as now, be true to yourself, accept your flaws for we are not perfect. Acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses for these make us human.
