Who thought that whole cougar thing up anyway? It is fascinating to me when a fad starts and takes off like this one. Wouldn't it be fun to know that you were the first to name something? Of course, it would be great if it was something worthwhile and not crap...

well I didn't but have heard of it.not calling anyone anything just looking and age don't matter to me.
snowbunnie4U: WOW..u kind of missed my entire point....it seems.. I am not the one who posted a thread with that "label"..And, I am clearly stating that I don't like that label or many others...So, what was the meaning of your response to mine..? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Your entire post is written with "I" and "we", as though you accepted it to be what it is, (although maybe didn't like), in as far as the labels and connotations described throughout the entire thread are concerned.
Your post just happened to touch on most of the issues associated with the term "cougar" and differing ages dating, so it was the most convenient to quote.
Don't take it as me picking on you in specific, but if you want to see things change, don't repeat it as if it were an accepted norm for people see it as a bad thing, labels and all.

venusenvy: Not as much I dont think. maybe older men are more open to experiment? Not as hung on convention. I mean I like a man that can handle me...and Im a lapful ...not someone I have to teach yaknow?

Maybe there is someone out there who got what i meant ...But, you still missed it, in my opinion. Yes it was "I", cos it is "my" take on it, and I said that. The poster was asking for "opinons", right? This is my opinion. This is what i trully feel in my heart and mind about the subject. And, I did say that a 10 year difference was enough of an age diference, and later on...others said the same. I am not perpetuating any dogma of stereotypes here. The stereotypes already exist..C'mon..be realistic. I guess u have to be a woman to understand, and then again...maybe not all women would agree either. But, I still stand by what i said. Thank you for responding again.
