loverboy690: Are middleaged women meant for younger guys?

Well I suppose you could ask the same question of middle aged men? Should they be chasing after 20 year olds? I generally have no problem with either scenario provided it takes places between consenting adults. It is not my place (nor yours) to judge others if no laws are being broken. You would need to also ask why all of these “cougar” websites exist on the net unless they were attracting younger men and were generating a profit.

I know but my point stands. It doesnt matter and these sites are popular. Younger men are interested in older women and vice versa. Whats the harm really?

I think "cougar" is kind of cool. There are far worse terms they could have chosen to use. Embrace it! Its powerful. applause

When I was young I fell in love with a couger and married her. We enjoyed over 30 years together. Age was never an issue between us. If you are matched up with the right person, nothing else matters.

I have a couple older female friends that love the term cougar. I also have one that absolutely hates it. It's all based on the person.
I personally don't factor age into dating. I'm a personality guy.

Then your relationship was one of the rare exceptions, John. And bless you that it was. hug

jessejess47: I agree ,but for me it would be hard for me to be with someone that is my childs age or younger

I agree with this statement! I have kids that are 22 and almost 25, and I've been asked out by guys that are their age. I just couldn't do it! LOL.. it felt too weird! My own issue.. I know! grin

I found it’s a combination of factors very often. The younger men might be more physically interesting but older men are usually much more compelling on an intellectual level.

As I have said before....men of my age want younger women.

I don't want to date any men who are much younger than me. I want to date men of my own generation so we can relate to each other.

So that means I am dateless and there's nothing "cougarish" about me.

dunno laugh
