i found out what true love really is. the closeness of a warm body next to you, words don't need to be said a look or a motion will tell you the need. no arguing, pettiness, just the knowing that your are needed and that you will do all in your power to grow old together.the feeling you get when they are ill, or hurt and you can't do anything to help. i learned all this from my dog. if more people would take a lesson from thier closests friends we would all be better off.

Agreed...though I learned those lessons from my late husband and what we went through.

We can learn alot from our pets. They go with their instincts, dont harbour pettiness, dont put up barriers, are simply themselves.
They should take their owners to classes, not the other way around..

How very true! Is love a helplessness you feel when you want so much to help someone, but can't be there to help them?
i think we've all been there at one time or another, even the hard core that won't admit it has.it could be a new thread should men show their soft side and not try to be so macho?
