Mine is about as short as you can get and I did that for a reason...Profiles don't mean a lot to me...so if someone really wants to get to know me...they can come to the forums...read the forums or write me....I am me here sooooooo...that says more about me than I could ever sum up in my profile....

I tried to put most of the stuff I like in mine, so if they don't read my profile then I will Know.
And also so for the one's that do read then they know if I have anything in common with them first that I enjoy doing.

Well,-Even though you are not looking for a relationship here, I think the same rules apply as with any new contact.
I think you may have read me stating before that I think the longer the profile, the better the chances that I feel inclined to ask a question or to feel 'safe' to approach a person..as I have a clearer picture of "what makes you tick', or who you might welcome approaching you.
Reading about the forum posts etc is interesting and in depth, but more of a magnified view of who you are.. its hard to figure out in context, others chatting in-between and your responses influenced by the other posters, so actually quite a task to get an overview of a person.
So me personally I read the profiles quite carefully and try to read between the lines even, long before I have made contact..
But really: A profile is about showing who you are, so the advice: Be yourself! is still the best one.
I am a wordy person, so I want wordy information,- others look for different clues, like some men have suggested

I think your profile is a good length for what you want as you are not looking you mind want to includes some interests. What would you and others you would like to talk to have in common? Do you water ski? Bungee Jump or Fly of tall buildings in a single bound. That is all that I could see is a few specific interests.
