I bought a turkey for .99 cent a lbs. and my buddy "chaddy" who is a head cook in a very nice resturant offered to come and cook on his day off. He fixed the turkey , homemade rye bread stuffing , home made cloe slaw, mashed taters & gravey, and buttered carrots, man am I stuffed ....
Just got done with pork roast, lettuce, cottage cheese and a baked tater. Tater is from last years garden, pork is from home raised pigs, cottage cheese is homemade and I had to buy the lettuce at the Food Co-op.
Hey Jesse can I get a loan of your "head cook" for a few days? That meal sounds fantastic. Does he know how to make cornbread stuffing/dressing? I think I will ask my son to run over to the HoneyBaked Ham store and pick up a nice ham for Easter soon.

Cooking is one of my passions. I do it to relax. I must say that I'm pretty good at it too! And it never hurts when I hear, "mmmmm", while someone is eating something I've made, either.
