well i have 5 boys and 3 girls became a widow 10 years ago...but i lived to tell the tale...
You only sent papers off and probably were expecting to feel something but my friend did the same and was like you are now. It kinda hit her when the actual divorce came thru, so wait and see. But at least you have 3 wonderful children from it so it wasnt that bad when you look at them, as a mother's love is unconditional and you have done well for yourself...fair play to you

I've got pictures, keep them on hand in case i need to blackmail him some day!! In response to: Well i just sent my divorce papers off to the court and i was expecting some sort of emotion about it all but I am just numb. I am not really sure what to feel or even what I think about it. It just seems like a formality to me, I am not happy or sad or mad or anything, nothing, zip, zero, zilch. I am not typically emotional anyway but I am feeling a bit void of any emotion whatsoever.
Sent my papers off today, also feel nothing now, when first seperated blamed myself now moved on with life. Take the good from it and leave the bad behind and the best thing of all is my daughter (step daughter) still have her in my life.
Of to court tomorrow for the divorce proceedings. I am not really sure what to expect but I am sure it will be fine. Providing everything goes the way it is supposed to, hopefully in 1 month and 1 day, it will all be over and done with. *touch wood*

I know you might be stressing a bit, but its all a formality and I found it to be an anticlimax. Just a question to verify I was me, look at the papers and stamp.. all done.

Thanks kids, I am sure it will just be formalities, I have already done 2 runs to the cop shop tonight to sign off on affidavits that i bloody forgot about.
I only have to attend coz there are kids under 18 involved and they want to ensure their welfare. I know that I am a good parent so i am not too concerned. 
I'll report back tomorrow night as to the proceedings.
