Its kinda interesting how men are sometimes ... because I've met men and talked with men that have made a specific point to let me know how "wealthy" they were ... does it matter to me?? ... truthfully not because that's just not a part of my character. I have never asked a man what he possessed or owned or how much money he made .... EVER.
Just because someone makes alot of money doesn't mean that they manage it well, as well as possessions ... doesn't mean that they are paid for .... so to me its more important to live within your means.
So true.. I look at my nephew who lives in a million dollar house, he has another house with a tenant in it to pay the morgage, he just bought a apartment for his one year old daughter for her future, he has 2 nice cars, every gadget there is, the nicest clothes, buys his wife anything she wants.. they appear to be very happy
BUT THE GUY will be in debt for the next 50 years for his lifestyle...
He has credit cards maxed out to the max...Personal, home loans he will be paying off well after he retires...... I honestly cant see him paying them off...
So appearing to have money doesnt really mean you have it either...
I also find that those that do talk about it, dont have it... Or may appear to have it but definately dont own it all yet...
I like Costa Mesa, for the most part. It's a little older relative to the rest of the area, and has a little character (kind of like Royal Oak, MI, where I moved from). The best part, I am less than four miles from the office. So many here spend a good part of their lives on the commute.

There are also plenty guys who go looking for a meal ticket, just as many as those who are so intimidated by financially independent women they can't get their 'stock' up.
Be like me. I used all of my cash buying holiday apartments in Turkey. Now I have no money to go out, but have some wonderful vacations. Then when the money comes in from the rentals. I'll find a happy girl who wants to spend the evenings sipping cool drinks and watching the sun go down.
Oh!!! and unlike me, do not let them know you have any cash at all. I write to some of them and they reject me thinking I'm a poor farm boy from bonnie Scotland .
I'm considering leaving this site, so it does not matter that they know now.
Just don't let them know you have any money at all. You will soon seperate the wheat from the chaff as we say in Scotland. An honest lady will write back to you wanting you for who you are and not what you are or what you possess!!!
I didn't come from a rich family and I have never made more than $23,000 in one year, but I have always had a car,a roof over my head, and a bought the things that I have really wanted...Don't know what else there is. I would probably not know what to do with alot of money...probably just spend it on my friends, girlfriend or wife if I had one...Money,to me is made to spend and well...got $10.00,McDonalds anyone?
