I am with you. I am portuguese, we have the same problem here. In our Azores islands the people have surfered to much. I remember what happened in your country some years ago. We had the recent strong one in Italy...

Take care claudya. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We just survived a close call with a wild fire about a mile outside our town last night. It started about 1 in the afternoon and they weren't able to put it out until early this morning. They had to bring in firefighters from across the country called Hot Shots to deal with it. We got lucky this time. A wild fire in the mountains can be a very dangerous thing.

W get them here in California all the time. It gets nerve racking when you keep feeling them one after an other!

Oh, i remember those days.... I was in San Fransisco in 1989 for the Northridge Quake..... It was a shaker.

We had 2 bad ones, I believe around 92-93.....Northridge and then Big bear....within an hour apart!!!! Scariest one for me....split our drive way all the way down!

I live & work in Northridge....been thru quite a few earthquakes here in So. Cal.....It definitely can be unnerving....hope you are doing ok....and by the way as far as anyone knows earthquakes are
still unpredictable, so carry extra water & supplies at your home just in case....also have flashlights & candles ready.....

We had one here too. Was just a few days ago.
I was sleeping and didn't feel anything.
Was just reading it in the newspaper.
