Was the other site a paid site? Some sites that have a fee want you to stay on the site so are strict on passing email addys and numbers.
Id say they do spot checks. They couldnt possibly read every message!

if it was a fee paying site + you wernt a full member yes you would be banned..happened a friend of mine.
I have passed my number here no prob.
do know one site that u can pass numbers no problem
its a money making scam upgrade to full membership unlimited emails and contact info

I was on that site for a while too. Only the fee paying members can send their phone numbers and email addresses, and only to other fee paying menbers

To exchange telephone numbers ffs.......they obviously read the pm's though.....like I said....I put the numbers in numerically in one pm and spelled it in another.try using spaces bars and gobbly gook between its a computer program that filters suspect contact info that alerts mods

If it is the site I am thinking of, they use a software code that susses out any mail activity on the site which contains a whiff of numbers, urls or e mail in mails, even if it's embedded or coded. It's quite smart and you would be doing well to beat it. They even charge a higher premium membership for members that will allow them to send on and receive contact details in e mails. I won't say what site it is but I'd not need "another" chance on it to make a new "friend" or two again
