It is an interesting topic and I am pleased that it has gone deeper than the usual, once a cheater always a cheater comments.
My ex husband had an affair for three years, I would not decribe him as a cheater.

My experience was that the relationship ended, we both hung in there for our child, but it finally ended. As far as I know, (I was the one to make the call [end it]) we never cheated on one another, but it wouldn't have mattered at that point.

Dmire: It is no a secret that some single men/women have an obsession for married women/men.Married couples are perceived as the 'forbidden temptation'since they are already commited and hence unavailable.Why then date a commited person?
I don't understand why anyone would want to date a married man/woman. When you have an intimate relationship with somebody you normally want to have that person all to yourself and try to build up the relationship & take it to a higher level, but that wouldn't be possible when one of the people involved is already in a committed relationship that has been sealed with a marriage. Of course, there are some folks out there who are professional home-breakers. Such people wouldn't stop at anything to help destabilize other people's home. They do it for a myriad of reasons, viz mostly monetary, sometimes because they get a kick out of making other people miserable, for the simple reason that they're evil or just psychotic. There are lots of fruitcakes out there on the loose instead of being in a nut house. Beats the heck outta me.
