I'm about to get back into making music after a bit of a break, and I thought I would share a few ideas I have. I'm basically looking for musicians (guitar players, bass players, keys, vocalists, lyricists, etc.) to work on original collaborations.
If there are some musicians here at CS that would be interested in getting involved, let me know.
Also, for best sound quality, a music software program on your PC would be preferred, though it is not an absolute necessity. If you have a digital camcorder, or even a webcam that has decent sound quality, there shouldn't be much of problem. The program I use is flexible, and a video/audio track can be tweaked as long as the video is compatible. Though I would personally prefer the former (in mp3 or wavfile format), I'm fairly certain most video/audio files would work, as well.
I have more details to share, but want to wait and see if anyone here is interested in something like this before going any further.
Also, I would prefer a female lead singer (but again, not an absolute) that could possibly write her own lyrics. If not, perhaps we could get someone else here that has a knack for writing poetry, etc.
oh yea, forgot to say.....there are several recordings out, of different genras, that have been "put together" via inter-net emails with such programs...it's really a cool deal ...
oh, and one more thing....a chic singer that writes her own lyrics that's just asking for trouble
